CSE14 Series Sorter
About
Our CSE14 series sorter is an ideal choice for small caps or low rate requirements. This waterfall cap sorter uses a regenerative blower to discharge parts from the belt, significantly reducing long term running costs compared to compressed air.
We offer quick change tooling as an option on all of our cap sorters, allowing for fast and easy changeover between parts.
Specs
Performance
Up to 1000 caps/min for single lane applications, depending on cap geometry and weight. Up to 1500 caps/min for multiple lane applications. For quotes with feed rate requirements, sample caps must be provided.
Structural
Formed stainless steel hopper and column with square stainless tubing for legs.
Mechanical
- Belt - 14 in (356 mm) width grey polypropylene
- Hopper - 20 ft³ (.57 m³); approximately 45 in (1143 mm) from floor to lip of hopper
- Discharge height - 90 in (2286 mm) standard
- Flights - CNC Machine PVC Standard. Stainless steel, conductive UHMW, or Delrin as required to achieve rates or to satisfy customer requirements
- Parts are discharged using medium pressure air from a regenerative blower; compressed air is not required
Electrical
- Power is 115 VAC single phase
- Belt motor is 230 VAC 3 phase with a variable frequency drive (115 VAC single phase input to drive)
- Start/stop switch and speed dial control
- "Track Full" sensor allows unit to be run independent of the machine it feeds
- Door switches shut down machine in the event unwanted material enters hopper
- NEMA 12 gray powder coated enamel enclosure
Options
- 10 ft³ (.29 m³); approximately 27.5 in (699 mm) from floor to lip of hopper
- Increased discharge height in increments of 12 in (305mm) to a maximum of 114 in (2896 mm)
- NEMA 4X (304 stainless steel) electrical enclosure
- 3/8 in (9.5 mm) Lexan hopper cover
- Belt cover and column top cover
